Oh, the perils of being an unvetted candidate. You knew it would happen sooner or later. Yes, we found out that...drum roll please...Obama is a flawed human being. What a shocker. Just like all the rest of us.
What surprises me is how the media took so long to figure it out. I guess someone's dirty laundry has to be flying out in public for at least two years before anyone notices it.
Looks like Obama's "associate" trouble is not over. The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who embarrassed Obama with sounds bites of his incendiary and racist speeches, is apparently on a media tour. He just did an interview on PBS and is scheduled to appear at the National Press Club and at the NAACP convention. I know he would hate me for saying this, but oy vey!
I take it you watched this evening's Bill Moyer's Journal? Is so, you will probably be a wee bit reluctant using "racist" when describing Rev. Jeremiah Wright's speeches. The full context of the sound bites were on Moyers and discussed intelligently.
If you didn't watch the show, or don't intend to, I hope you don't plan on further perpetuating the mainstream media's decontextualized sound bites and character assassination of Rev. Wright.
