Still reeling from stinging losses in the last dozen or so primaries, Hillary has obviously put Bill in check over his free-wheeling speeches, which some saw as racist and putting down Barack Obama's judgement.
Bill has replaced the "I" and "We" in his speeches with more "Hillary has, Hillary will, and Hillary believes" statements. After the damage to his wife's campaign he caused in the run-up to the SuperTuesday's primary, one has to wonder how much repair work has to be done...not only to Hillary's campaign but to his own image and legacy, especially with black voters.
Since Obama has proven himself among black voters, Hillary will have to work twice as hard, an on her own, to prove that she is worthy of their support. Bill Clinton may have figuratively been the first black president, but it's clear that black voters prefer to have a real black president.
