Iowa: Get ready for the Oprah-Obama show! Yes, the talk show diva herself is going to campaign for Obama on December 8. I don't recall Oprah ever coming to Iowa for anything, so this will be new. Her mission: Recruit female voters, plain and simple.
I personally think that Oprah has a secret crush on Obama. You can't help but notice how she gets all giddy around him...
But Obama has had definite problems connecting all over the democratic political spectrum. Women, who you'd think would all be swooning, are not swooning. Black voters have moved over to the Obama camp. He's been called too white, been called on skipping the AARP debate in Iowa (a really stupid move in a state where the average age of a caucus-goer is 65), and the list goes on.
Oprah in Iowa...they're going to need Wells Fargo Arena for that one.
