Obama's campaign is accusing the Clinton campaign of spreading some sort of silly rumor about Obama. First of all, if there was any good dirt on Obama, someone would have reported on it by now. The guy has been vetted. Secondly, do you think the Clinton campaign would go and tell Robert Novak about it? Guess again.
Clinton's people are far too disciplined to let something like this derail her campaign. Meanwhile, Obama's folks will in big trouble on caucus day, because the January 3rd caucus date means that most college students will be home doing laundry, not in Iowa caucusing for their man. It really doesn't matter anyway, young people are notorious no-shows on caucus night.
I'm predicting at least a 5-7% margin of victory for Hillary on caucus night, and I believe Edwards will come in second. Obama's not getting the traction he needs as far as precinct by precinct organizing. This is the same problem that dethroned Howard Dean in 2004.
