FEMA's Pathetic Fake Press Conference

Fema_sealJust when you think the freaks at FEMA couldn't get any freakier, the news came out today: FEMA held a news conference about the FEMA response to the California wildfires WITHOUT ANY MEDIA PRESENT.The media were invited, but were only given 15 minutes notice. But the audience members were asking questions, alright. The FEMA employees in the audience were FEMA employees, lobbing softball questions to Harvey Johnson, the agency's deputy director.

The media were given a real 800-number to call in, but were only allowed to listen. The gaffe has been well-covered by the mainstream media, as almost any attempt to fool reporters is. DUH!

Yeah, FEMA is doing a great job getting aid to California, and after the Hurricane Katrina debacle, they had better! But the American people are smart enough to figure out the heroes on their own.
