Senator Craig has decided to serve out his term in the Senate after telling everyone he would resign. When I read the news I could not help laughing out loud, even if it was a stifled little giggle. What a selfish man. By the way, he voted NO on SCHIP reauthorization, in case you care.
The party will force him out, you wait and see. First, they will take away his Senate Cloak Room chair, then remove all the stall doors in the Senate potty room, then he'll no longer be welcome in the rarified air of the Senate mess hall. Then they'll probably ask him to wear tap shoes so they can hear him walking up behind someone. Pretty soon he'll be humiliated into leaving.
But the republicans still think they are the party of morality and family values. Ha.
