This morning I was surfing the Web and found a post on the NY Times Caucus blog about Hillary Clinton's recent speech at the Kansas City VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars). The audience reaction was reported to be respectful, yet cool. Then I read the comments, some of which seemed to be from members of the audience. And I realized that there is a great divergence in opinion among members of the military.
What I want to know is...Are people in the military automatically pre-disposed to hate Hillary Clinton based on Bill Clinton's past low marks by servicemen and women? Or are members of the military willing to give Hillary Clinton a listen?
My favorite comment, by the way, was...
Hillary at the VFW hall?
That’s kinda’ like a redneck rallying for votes at a gay rights event.
Someone please stop this woman from continuing to make a fool of her self. Ebonics, Southern Twang, campaign trail lies, stop-Obama-fever, and now trying to get the military to support her and her anti-military husband. When will the madness cease?

Ok, so this guy is accusing Hillary Clinton of making a fool of herself, but identifies himself as "An Audi Q7 Driver???? Sounds like the guy might have a bit of an inferiority complex. Dr. Freud??
I encourage you to comment on this post if you are a member of the military. Does Hillary automatically get excluded from the military vote, or will people give her a chance?

I served as an army officer for 5 years. I am a West Point graduate and politically moderate. The Clintons are not hated by the military, they are completely despised. Bill is a draft-dodger and Hillary demanded her White House Marine guards wear civilian clothes while on duty. Axing 2 divisions from the Army and not allowing for any increases in pay, even to stay with inflation, was ridiculous. The Clintons were anti-military when it was popular and are now pro-military today, simply to get elected. They are both liars and cowards.
