Watch the pack follow the leader.
Hillary, thus far into the debate, is leading the pack. Most of the candidates look like deer caught in headlights. Chris Dodd, Mike Gravel and Joe Biden have an angry edge to them. I don't know where that belongs in the debate, but it certainly does not belong in the personality profile of the president of the United States.
I have watched a lot of debates, and Hillary has the ability to cut to the quick and answer every question with laser focus. She can also answer a question with the fewest possible words. As someone who writes for a living, I appreciate the brevity of her sentences.
I am impressed with all of the candidates' sense of humor, but Joe Biden needs to spend more time with his delivery. He loses the funny when he follows up with plain ol' weird statements.
Bill Richardson lost me on this support for the NRA. HUH? Dennis Kucinich is just an entertaining little elf who ran around shouting, "Text "PEACE" to the White House!"
Ok, the debate is over...I'd say the winner is Hillary. Obama and Edwards tied for second. Then I'd have to go Richardson, Biden, Dodd, Gravel and Kucinich.
Kudos to CNN and You Tube for pulling off the debate with very few hitches and technical difficulties. It was an interesting and entertaining format and I enjoyed watching it. Anderson Cooper is also very easy on the eyes, so that was a bonus for me.
