The group trying to draft Al Gore to run for the presidency in 2008 is running radio ads in Iowa, hoping to gain national attention to their movement. Despite Gore's insistence that he's not running, it begs the question...Why Not? He's on You Tube too.
Gore's positives are higher than every other presidential candidate on either side of the aisle. He has earned the credibility he currently enjoys the hard way. He was gracious in defeat and has never stopped speaking up for the things he believes in.
I'm currently reading the book "The Assault on Reason," written by my former boss, Al Gore. I am thrilled to be reading a truly intellectual look at what's gone wrong with the Bush administration. I have at times been so frustrated with Curious George that only small words can come out of my mouth.. words like fuc*er, and a*shole. While reading Gore's book, I was grateful because I actually had to look up a couple of words in the dictionary.
I hope he does run. It would certainly be interesting.
