Ol' Voldemort is at it again. He out to prove that he doesn't listen to anyone, not even the National Archives. Cheney is refusing routine requests by the National Archives to release information to be classified by the agency and is rankling a few congressmen, including California's Henry Waxman.
Cheney's argument? He's not actually part of the Executive Office, so he doesn't have to comply with the document requests. So, if he's not part of the Executive Office, what office is he a part of, and who does he answer to? Apparently only the Supreme Court. When he purposely hid the names of the oil company executives who came to his office, the case went to the Supreme Court, who backed Cheney in their decision. I guess Cheney has become enboldened by this victory.
I hope Cheney gets held personally accountable for his actions while in office. Or maybe someone can just take him "hunting."
